These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RO Tech Solutions website at rotechsolutions.ca and any services provided by RO Tech Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or requesting our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services.

2. Our Services

RO Tech Solutions provides security system installation, repair, maintenance, and monitoring services including but not limited to:

• Alarm system installation and servicing
• CCTV camera installation
• Access control systems
• Intercom and enterphone systems
• ULC fire monitoring
• Accessible entrance installation and repair
• Video monitoring for businesses
• Mobile surveillance tower rentals
• 24-hour professional monitoring (facilitated through third-party monitoring stations)

All services are subject to a separate written service agreement or work order signed by both parties prior to commencement of work.

3. Quotes & Agreements

All quotes provided by RO Tech Solutions are estimates based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if site conditions, scope of work, or customer requirements differ from those assessed during the initial consultation.

A written service agreement or work order signed by the customer constitutes the binding contract for any installation or service work. Verbal agreements are not binding on RO Tech Solutions.

Quote requests submitted through our website or by phone are not binding offers and do not constitute a contract until a written agreement has been signed by both parties.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in each individual service agreement or work order. Unless otherwise specified in writing:

• A deposit may be required prior to scheduling installation work
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work
• Mobile surveillance tower rentals are invoiced in advance for each rental period
• Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee

We accept payment by cash, cheque, e-transfer, and major credit cards. Applicable taxes will be added to all invoices.

5. Warranties & Guarantees

RO Tech Solutions stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Unless otherwise specified in your service agreement:

• We provide a workmanship warranty on all installations for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion
• Manufacturer warranties on equipment and hardware are passed through to the customer and are subject to each manufacturer's terms
• Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, tampering, third-party modifications, power surges, or events beyond our control

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RO Tech Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with our services or your use of our website.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee that a security system will prevent all incidents of theft, break-in, fire, or other loss. Security systems are a deterrent and detection tool — RO Tech Solutions is not liable for losses that occur despite the presence of an installed system.

7. Third-Party Services

Certain services we provide involve third-party providers, including alarm monitoring stations and equipment manufacturers. RO Tech Solutions acts as the installer and service provider — we are not responsible for the ongoing performance, availability, or conduct of third-party monitoring stations or software platforms (including Alarm.com).

Your use of third-party services (such as Alarm.com) is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the RO Tech Solutions website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of RO Tech Solutions or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

9. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems
• Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications through our contact forms
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from our website without our consent

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
